Griffith Gallery
Griffith Gallery, 208 Griffith Fine Arts Building, provides 134 running feet exhibition space (22 x 54' with 10' ceiling). It is across the hall from SFA's 1,000-seat Turner Auditorium, and is open on nights of performances in Turner Auditorium. The Griffith Gallery is located in the Griffith Fine Arts building on Vista drive. Regular gallery hours are 12:30-5 pm, Tuesday-Sunday.


School of Art Gallery
The School of Art operates two adjacent galleries in the Art Studio Building, each approximately 23 x 29 feet with 12-foot ceilings, in which students hold critiques and present solo and class exhibitions. The SFA Gallery Director, on staff in the School of Art, directs year-round exhibitions, in two high-security galleries, presenting regional, national and international art, educational programs, lectures, workshops and films for university, community, student and tourist audiences.

SFA School of Art Gallery is located in the Art Building on Wilson Drive. Art faculty exhibit their students work from the year before. Exhibits change every two weeks. The gallery is located across from the art office and is open Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm. The last 4 weeks of the fall and spring semester are reserved for MA/MFA Candidacy Exhibits and MFA Thesis Exhibits.


The Art Center @ The Old Opera House
The Art Center @ The Old Opera House, 329 East Main Street, is a newly renovated 10,238 square foot downtown Nacogdoches building. The first floor contains a 2,933 square foot gallery, which contains a 120" x 160" drop-down screen. There is also a storage room and kitchen. The second floor contains a 1,332 square foot gallery with a 65" x 116" drop-down screen, a conference room with a 54" x 96" drop-down screen, two offices and a storage room. Exhibitions are presented year-round and are planned by the SFA Gallery Director. Fundraising is continuing to build an endowment that will support the exhibitions, pay for the daily operations and create a new Assistant Director/Curator of Public Programming. Individuals and groups from the university and the community are able to schedule social and educational events which are approved under the Gallery Usage Policy. Gallery hours are 12:30 - 5 p.m., Tuesday - Sunday.
