The School of Art
operates two adjacent galleries in the Art Studio Building, each approximately
23 x 29 feet with 12-foot ceilings, in which students hold critiques and
present solo and class exhibitions.
The SFA Gallery Director, on staff in the School of Art, directs year-round
exhibitions, in the two galleries, presenting regional, national
and international art, educational programs, lectures, workshops and films
for university, community, student and tourist audiences.
SFA School of Art Gallery is located in the Art Building on Wilson Drive.
Art faculty exhibit their students' work from the year before. Exhibits
change every two weeks. The gallery is located across from the art office
and is open Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm. The last 4 weeks of the fall and
spring semester are reserved for MA/MFA Candidacy Exhibits and MFA Thesis
Exhibits.
