Teaching Fellowship  

The SFA School of Art awards one Post-graduate Fellowship in recognition of outstanding achievement by a graduate of the MFA program. This is a one-year, full-time teaching appointment with a 3/3-course load. The current stipend is $18,000 for nine months. To be eligible, a candidate must have completed the MFA program within the prior two academic years of the award and be nominated by a member of the Graduate Faculty. The Director of the School of Art in consultation with the Graduate Advisor and the Executive Committee reviews candidates. The Director, in consideration of the School's programmatic needs, determines teaching and other assignments. The Post-graduate Fellowship must be used during the academic year for which it is awarded and cannot be renewed.
