While every effort is made to provide adequate studio space for graduate students, the School of Art cannot guarantee that all graduate students will have private studios throughout their course of study. Studios are assigned according to the following criteria:
Priority will be given first to Teaching Assistants, then Graduate Assistants, then Student Assistants, and then according to seniority. Studio holders are expected to maintain their spaces, follow safety regulations and report any mechanical or safety problems to the School of Art Office in a timely manner. Renewal of studio privileges is not automatic, and failure to follow guidelines may result in revocation of studio privileges. Normally, studio assignments are not to exceed two years for the MA.
Studio assignments are made for the purpose of active studio production. Studio privileges will be revoked if the space is used inappropriately.
